| About | James Albert Clifford, 76, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026. James was born October 19, 1949 in Zanesville, son of the late James L. and Mary (Tabler) Clifford. In addition to his parents, James is also preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Clifford. James leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Courtney L. Carnes and Michael Ray Clifford; grandchildren, Menina Jackson, Courtlynn Jackson, LaToya (Jordan) Hayes and Lachelle Rae Clifford; great-grandchildren, Audrionna Hayes, Amyah Hayes, Amore McClain and Emberlynn Bolyard; relative, Donnie Caldwell; significant other, Tonya Johnson; close friends, Butch McCuen and Darrell Clifford; as well as a host of other family members and friends. James was an avid Harley Davidson rider in the many years that his health permitted. He loved to hit the road on his bike. James also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. He is sure to be missed. Per James' wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time.
