About | James A. Shiplett, 74, of Zanesville, died at 5:37 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Genesis Bethesda Hospital emergency room after an apparent heart attack. Born Nov. 5, 1927, in Zanesville, he was a graduate of Lash High School and attended Rio Grande College and Meredith Business College. He was a veteran of U.S. Navy and retired from Anchor Hocking after 35 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, where he served as usher and eucharistic minister and was president of the Senior Services Advisory Council. He is survived by his wife, Lois and sons: Stephen (Becky) Shiplett of Hebron, KY, Kevin (Ellen) Shiplett of Henderson, NV, Jim Jr. (Laura) Shiplett of Williamsburg, VA and Eric (Mollie) Shiplett of Milford He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lucille Bullington Shiplett. |
