About | James F. Lafferty, 64, of Zanesville, died Wednesday, Aug 16, 1995, at Dayton Veteran's Hospital in Dayton. Born June 24, 1931, in Zanesville, he retired in 1981 as a truck driver for Hilltop Florist and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Rita Perry Lafferty of the home; six sons, James R. of Columbus, Thomas J. of Virginia Beach VA, William H., David F., Richard E., and Patrick M., all of Zanesville; a brother, David of Springville; nine grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Franklin and Katherine Froehlich Lafferty. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, where wake services will be at 7 pm today. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, Aug 19, 1995, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Craig Eilerman as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, where George Selsam Post 1058 VFW, will hold military services. |
