| About | James F. Wheeler, 73, of Zanesville passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Willow Haven Care Center. He was born in Zanesville on May 12, 1937 to the late Carl N. and Elizabeth A. Snyder Wheeler. He was a 1955 graduate of Zanesville High School and was in the first class to graduate from the new high school on Blue Ave. He retired from the Zanesville Mould Company after 33 years and was employed by the Longaberger Company for 7 years. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was a member of the 37th Infantry 737 Maintenance BN of the National Guard from 1960 - 1966. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly J. Shell Wheeler of Zanesville; a daughter, Linda J. (Jeff) Wheeler Bowers of Zanesville; a son, James Michael (Molly) Wheeler of Zanesville; and a sister, Patricia A. "Pat" Wheeler of Zanesville. Grandchildren, Justin and Abbie Bowers of Zanesville and Macey Wheeler of Zanesville. Burial will be in the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
