| About | James R. "Jim" Moore, 67, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006, at his residence following a short illness. Jim was born January 26, 1939, in Zanesville, the son of the late Charles Dudley and Grace E. Connor Moore. He was a graduate of the Class of 1957 at Zanesville High School, a veteran of US Army, retired after 38 years as a truck driver for Putnam Transfer and was a member of Teamsters 637. Jim loved spending time with his family and taking care of his house and yard. Surviving Jim are his wife of 46 years, Vonda L. Wittlinger Moore, son, Douglas (Kelly) Moore of Zanesville, daughters, Vonda Murphy of New Concord and Wendy Bunting of Zanesville, grandchildren, Jessica Murphy, Megan Murphy, Ryan Marshall, Jonathan "Jon" Moore., Keely, JT, and Madison Bunting, several nieces, nephews and cousins, father and mother-in-law, Gene and Ginny Wittlinger of Zanesville, sister-in-law, Helen "Shippy" Moore, and brother-in-law, Donald (Cheryl) Smith, both of Zanesville, and his faithful companion Gypsy. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, Charles D. Moore, and sister, Edna Mae "Sis" Smith. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
