ZANESVILLE: Jay Rollin Demp 56 of Zanesville passed away on Saturday June 27, 2015 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born in Denver, Colorado on June 17, 1959 to the late Eugene Talley and Nadine Sue McConnell. He was a bus driver for Southeastern Area Transit. He was a lifetime member of Goldwing Road Riders Association, Teamsters 637 and a former Muskingum County Deputy Sheriff.He is survived by three daughters, Rachel (Cassidy) Smith, Natasha (Jesse) Cox, Kristin (Kevin) Blodgett, a son, Jay R. Demp II, his fiancé Linda Helser all of Zanesville; a brother Max E. (Vonda) Demp of Circleville; eight grandchildren: Caleb Underwood, Lamiah Smith, Taylor Smith, Baylee Wilson, Addison Wilson, Ryker Cox, Melody Blodgett and Hudson Blodgett.Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday July 1 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
