About Jerry Edward Quinn, 71, formerly of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at his home in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 2:00 a.m.

Jerry was born May 2, 1939 in Lathrop, Ohio to the late Ray E. and Ruth Harris Quinn.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Carolyn Quinn Butcher.

Mr. Quinn is survived by his wife, Grace of the home; her three children, Juliana & Ben Majoros of Tucson, Rebekah (Ryan) Yzenski of Somerset; her grandchildren, Viviana, Stephan & Desmond of Tucson; his children, Bill ( Roberta) Quinn, Bob Quinn & Brenda Taylor of Zanesville, Wendy Quinn of Windsor, California; their mother, Jeannie Quinn; his grandchildren, Angel, Shannon, Courtney & Kyle Quinn, Amanda (Greg) Carson, Andrea Shackelford, all of Zanesville, Brian & Jessica Shackelford of Columbus, Abby Quinn of NC; great grandchildren, Kelsey, Landon & Olivia Mervin, Sophie Quinn, Brycen, Reagen & Connor Quinn Carson, Madison Shackelford, also of Zanesville; also surviving are step-children, Shelly (Matt) Myers, their children, Stephan, Seth & Shawn and Mike Harper; a sister, Kay Jones; his brother, Dan Quinn; several nieces, nephews & friends.

Mr. Quinn graduated from Zanesville High School in 1957 and proudly served in the USMC. He was a past member of The Greater Ohio Showmens Association. He owned several businesses including trucking Co., West End Welding, My Place Imports, and most recently Creative Castone in Blue Rock. Mr. Quinn moved to Tucson in 2008. He and his wife Grace attended the Victory Worship Center in Tucson.

A Celebration of his life will be Sunday, November 14, 2010 starting at 4 p.m. with memorial services starting at 5 p.m. at Grace Life Fellowship (Old Nashport School) 6260 Newark Road, Nashport, Ohio. Jerry graciously donated his body to The Research for Life in Tucson, AZ. A loving cremation will follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations will be forwarded to The Research for Life in Tucson.
