| About | Jo Ann Hoover, 72, of Zanesville, passed away at 11pm Friday, July 6, 2007, at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born March 27, 1935, in Woodsfield, the daughter of Edna L. Porter Hoover of Zanesville and the late Stewart Hoover Sr. Jo Ann graduated from Lash High School in 1953. She retired in 1989 as director of the Muskingum County Juvenile Court with 37 years of service. She was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, the Verla Moore Service Club, International Association of Administrative Professionals, and had also served on the board of Catholic Social Services. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Stewart (Candice) Hoover Jr.; and sisters, Nancy and Mary Hoover, all of Zanesville. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
