| About | Joan Darlene Williams,91, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Helen Purcell Home. She was born in Basil, Ohio on August 25, 1932 to the late Roland and Mabel Blauser. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and retired from the Genesis Children’s Center after 44 years in the childcare business. She is survived by two daughters: Barbara (Jim) Fisher, and Sandra Connar; Grandchildren: Casey (Amber) Connar, Chelsea (David Braunstein) Connar, and Tom (Christel) Connar; Great granddaughter, Ellory Grace Connar and a second one on the way; sisters in law: Lucille Morosco and Shirley Moffett; many nieces and nephews; her best friend Thelma King; and her beloved cat Annie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert “Bob” Williams; son-in-law Pat Connar; a brother Ron Blauser; and many other family members. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Helen Purcell for all their love and caring during her time there and to her special neighbors, Paul (Donna) Beaschler for years of caring. Box 2364, Zanesville, Ohio 43702-2364 Visitation will be Thursday November 30 from 4-7PM at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME,1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Entombment will follow in the Zanesville Memorial Park Mausoleum. |
