| About | Joanne (Collin) Jessie, 75 of Zanesville, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday February 18, 2022 at the James Cancer Center. She was born on February 25, 1946, in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilfred Frank and Marie Bates Frank. She was a graduate of Zanesville High School in 1964. Joanne later worked at Walmart for 25 years and was a member of Logan Vineyard Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gambling and playing scratch off lottery tickets. Above all, she loved to spend time with friends and family. She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Lynn) Pulver, Julie (Lin) Strickland; brothers, James Collin, Charlie (Marcy) Frank; sisters, Charlene (Michael) Griffin, Arlene Marie Frank; grandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Levi Pulver; great-grandchildren, Elijah Strickland, Josslyn Strickland, and Silas Strickland. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband of 20 years, David Dunaway; her latest husband, Michael Jessie; sister, Darlene Frank; and sister-in-law, Lynda Collin. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-7:30 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held at 7:30 PM with Greg Jadwin officiating. Per Joanne’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place following services. |
