About | Jodi Terry Ryan, 40, of Nashport, died at 7:45 pm Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at Hospice of Genesis Morrison House after a five year battle with cancer. Born June 30, 1957, in Zanesville, she was a member of the Immanuel United Chuch of Christ and a 1975 graduate of Zanesville High School. She was a teacher, camp counselor and DECA advisor for the past 20 years at Licking County Joint Vocational School at Newark. She began her teaching career after completing a bachelor and masters degree in education at the Ohio State Uiversity and was a member of the Alpha XI Delta Sorority. Surviving are her huband, Kelly Lucas Ryan; two sons, Cole, 15, and Clay, 7, of the home; her parents, Robert C. and Kathryn A. Terry of Zanesville,; her father and mother-in-law, William P. and Joanne Lucas Ryan of Seabrook, S.C.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry G. and Joan M. Gatewood of Pineville, La. and Terry D. and Lana Gatewood of Fort Myers FL; one aunt, Linda Rush of CA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; many loving friends; and her dog Mike. Calling hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Services are 11 am Saturday, April 18, 1998, at the funeral home with Pastor John Earhart officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Licking County Joint Vocational School-DECA Program, 150 Price Road, Newark, OH 43055. |
