John R. Tyson, 70, of Zanesville, passed away 1:25 pm March 15, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family.He was born September 19, 1944 in Zanesville, son of the late Robert Tyson and Lela (Luburgh) Tyson. He attended Norval Park Church of Christ. He worked at Burnham and retired after twenty-eight years and worked at Mideast Technical College as a janitor for eight years where he was employed currently. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an inspiration to everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Carole Moore Tyson whom he married October 19, 1962; daughters, Lisa (Marty) Tobias of Zanesville, Vickie Tyson of Zanesville, Shelly (Hughie Nykile) Tyson of Zanesville; brother, Henry "Hank" Boles of Newark; sisters JoAnn (Phil) Barker of Michigan, Martha (Bill) Hart of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Ashley (Andre) Bruce, Stephanie (Eric) Bunting, Lindsey, Lexie and Lacey Tyson; great-granddaughters, Jayda Stone and Olivia Bunting; several nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pet, Rusty.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his second, mother Ida Tyson; brother, Ned Tyson; sister, Lura Sothen. |
