About | John W. Longstreth, 35, died Thursday, April 25, 1985 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born November 12, 1949 in Columbus, a son of James Ralph and Margaret McLoughlin Longstreth. Mr. Longstreth, a lifetime resident of the Zanesville area, was a master plumber and owner and operator of John W. Longstreth Plumbing. He was a memer of St. Thomas Catholic Church and was an Army veteran of the Vietman War. He was an assistant fire chief for Falls Township Volunteer Fire Dept and was past president of the department of which he was a member for six years. He was also a member of United Commercial Travelers. He is survived by his wife, Patricia MacDonald Longstreth of the home; a son Ryan, and a daughter, Cara, both of the home; a twin sister, Mrs Thomas (Mary) Mahone of Cincinnati and a brother James M. Longstreth of Zanesville Burial will be in Mattingly Settlement. |
