| About | Joshua W. Shafer, 39 of Zanesville, passed away January 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 23, 1981 in Zanesville, son of Wayne (Virginia) Shafer and Trisha (Dave) Morrison Johnson. He attended Life Way Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter Jessica Shafer; sisters, Natasha Shafer, Sarah Shafer, Alexis Shafer; step-brother Jake Johnson; several nieces, nephews to whom he loved and adored. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday January 13, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29. |
