About Juanita Reed passed away quietly and comfortably on June 21, 2008, at Riverside
Hospital.

Born May 27, 1923, in Newark, she was raised in Zanesville. Before marrying and moving to the Columbus area. Juanita was very active part other community, Worthington, and her church, the Worthington Presbyterian Church. When she moved to the Village at Westerville in 2007. she became active in that community as well. In the church, she acted as a deacon and was a member of many Bible study classes as well as being a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the St. Stephen’s Ministry. In her community, she was a Brownie Scout leader, a Jayce-ette, a La Sertonian, a member of CCL and a local leader in each. She played bridge regularly, painted china, made pottery and jewelry and decorated shirts.

In addition to those activities, she lovingly raised two daughters, Andrea “Andi" and Lisa, and helped her husband, Tom, begin his architectural practice in Worthington. She and Tom also enjoyed camping and did so frequently.

Juanita is survived by two brothers, Paul V (Carol) Church and Kenneth ( Chrissie) Church. She will also be sorely missed by daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea (John E.) Stougliton and Lisa (David) Young; grandchildren, Nikki Lang. Mom (AIcemi) Stoughion, Katherine V. ‘Tory” Stouflion and Anna Young as well as great-granddaughter. Elise Lang. Juanita eaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Howard 0. and Anna Leone Church; and her beloved husband of over 51 years. Thomas “Tom" A. Reed.

Juanita's family would like to say thank you very much for the warmth and caring people she found at the Village at Westerville and Riverside Hospital - you made her last hours more comfortable. She always said “Do not grieve for me, MISS me, but do not grieve.’ She is happy now in God's arms and with our father, Tom.

A celebration of Juanita’s lifè will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2,2008, at the Karl Road Christian Church, 5400 Karl Hoas. Columbus.
