| About | Juanita P. Pierce, 101, of White Cottage, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Helen Purcell Home. She was born on May 4, 1910 in White Cottage. She graduated from Lash High School in 1928 and graduated from the Ohio State University Business College. She was an executive secretary for Capital Finance in Columbus for 30 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Salvation Army Ladies Auxillary Twig #57, American Business Women's Assoc., Clintonville Women's Club, Missionary Circle at Indianola Church of Christ, Women's Group at Upper Arlington Church of Christ. She is survived by one sister Burdeen (Don) Higginbotham of White Cottage. Three step grandchildren, Robert (Marte) Dillon, Geoffry (Patty) Shuman, and Nicole (James) Rohrig. Two special nephews, Robert (Shirley) Fincel and John (Barbara) Fincel. Friends Carla (Roger) Samson, Pam Moore, Mark (Nancy) Ullman, Frances Cotterill, Bill (Evelyn) Binge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. Pierce. Mother Myrtle George Fincel. Father, Walter T. George. Step-father, William L. Fincel. Two step-children, Arlene Shuman and Marion Pierce, Jr. One step-sister, Dorothy Hibbs. Two step-brothers, Richard Fincel and Rev. Father William Fincel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. |
