Judith K. Cohagen, 72, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2014 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.Born July 8, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Carl and Mary Edith (Shinn) Lichtner and was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School. She recently attended the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church and had previously attended Westwood Baptist Church of Zanesville. Mrs. Cohagen was employed in retail sales at Lazarus and Elder-Beerman of Zanesville.Surviving are two daughters, Melanie (Robert) Denton of Zanesville and Michele Prang and her fiancée, Marc Zitron of North Venice, Florida; two grandchildren, Mekenzie Denton and Noah Denton; a sister Marylee (Cecil) Jordan of Dresden; a niece and nephew, Leanne Bell and Jeff Jordan and their families; and several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Cohagen whom she married September 27, 1964 and who died September 29, 1981 and a brother, Thomas Lichtner.There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held with Pastor Mark Ballmer officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. |
