| About | June Elaine (Bronkar) Maxwell, 82, of Zanesville, passed away at 2:03 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 5, 1930, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Lewis “Jim” and Hazel Dixon Bronkar. She was a graduate of Lash Hugh School Class of 1948. She enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing bingo at the Senior Center. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Sue Powell of Zanesville; a grandson, Matt (Lisa) Powell; two great granddaughters, Emily and Julia Powell, both of Morrow, OH; a sister, Patty (Harry) Englehart of Zanesville; and two brothers, Donald Bronkar and Roger (Patti) Bronkar, both of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburt “Bill” Maxwell, whom she married, October 1, 1949 and who died June 8, 2008; and two special sisters-in-law, Shirley Bennett and Mellie Maxwell. Per June’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. |
