| About | Funeral services for Karen Elaine Noland, age 52 of Ashland, will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Millerville Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Neeley officiating. Burial will follow in the Millerville Community Cemetery. Mrs. Noland passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Russell Medical Center in Alexander City. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio and was a graduate of Zanesville High School where she participated in Track and Shotput. A former resident of Florida, she had lived in Clay County for the past 30 years. Mrs. Noland had worked for Clay County Hospital and Nursing Home and then for Wellborn Cabinets for more than 25 years. She enjoyed church, family and vacationing and was a member of Millerville Baptist Church. Mrs. Noland is survived by her husband, Samuel Eugene "Dean" Brown of Ashland; her daughter, Tia Elaine Brown of Ashland; her step-daughter, Sylvia Brown of Florida; her son, Tim Noland of Barfield; one sister, Deborah Ginikos of Ohio; two brothers: Chuck Billheimer of Ohio and Jeff Finck of South Carolina; five grandchildren and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Finck and Jo Ann Schultz Finck; her daughter, Terri Jo Brown and one brother, Mike Finck. Pallbearers will be Johnnie Lacey, John Lacey, Michael Wayne Jordan, Don Jones, Casey Jones and Christian Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Brown, Colleen Martin and Cindy Lacey. |
