| About | Karen Sue Dolen, 78 of Zanesville died at 11:44 AM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice following an extended illness. She was born December 8, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Franklin and Eloise Brown. Karen was a homemaker who also assisted her husband with the Ron Dolen Excavating Business. She enjoyed playing cards with her special card club friends for over 50 years, racing and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Karen is survived by her daughters, Stacey (Rick) Aukland & Shelley (Brad) Lynch; Five Grandchildren; Daryan (Colton) Hambel, Darby (Zach Swingle) Lynch, Evan & Edan Lynch and Landyn (Drew) Rackley; 3 Great Grandson, Lincoln Swingle, Layton Swingle & Tatum Rackley and many loving friends, including her loving neighbor, Alice Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Ronald "Ron" A. Dolen. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2024 with funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. A private family burial will conclude at a later date at the Zanesville Memorial Park. |
