About | Kathryn “Kathy” Sue Tabler, 70, of Zanesville passed at 3:39 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. She was born on October 23, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Elmer J. Niskanen and Margaret A. (Ammann) Niskanen. Kathy was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of family. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them at get-togethers. She was her kids’ biggest fan. Kathy enjoyed watching scary movies and traveling. She went to Lash High School in Zanesville. In her younger years, she worked at Adam’s Lane Care Center as a STNA, and later worked at McDonald’s with her daughter. She was a four-year cancer survivor. She is survived by her husband, Clifford L. Tabler; 2 daughters, Crystal K. Tabler of Zanesville & Sheri (Anthony) Peoples of Columbus; A son Derrick (Wonda) Tabler of Zanesville; Six grandsons, Anthony Peoples, Dante Tabler, Darrian Timberlake, Donavon Tabler, Austin Tabler & Drake Tabler; and 2 great grandchildren, Brantley Tabler and Sameera Peoples. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother John Niskanen. Friends may call 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral home where funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating. Burial will conclude at the Woodlawn Cemetery. |
