About | Lawrence B. (Larry) Morrison, 63, of 2303 Dresden Rd., well-known Zanesville luggage and gift shop operator, died at 2 am Wednesday, May 13, 1964 in Vanderbilt Hospital at Nashville, Tenn., as the result of a heart attack suffered April 30. Mr. Morrison and his wife had gone to Nashville to visit a son, Richard, a few days before suffering the attack. He was born in Zanesville and was a son of Walter and Etta Morrison. With his father he had operated the Morrison Leather and Luggage Shop on North Fifth St. for many years and later combined the luggage business with the gift shop at 514 Main St. Mr. Morrison attended Central Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow the former Marie Swisher; two sons, Richard of Tenn. And John Morrison of New York City and three grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
