| About | Leah D. Smith, 92, of Zanesville, died at 7:14 A.M. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at The Oaks at Northpointe, Zanesville. She was born May 7, 1932, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Francis and Thelma (Henery) Bowles Leah was a founding member of the Maranatha Bible Church and a long time Ministers wife she was very active in the church and she worked for Danker Printing. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Debra Gee, Karen (Don) Sheppard Jr., and Tamara (Tom) Gard; three sons, Timothy (Karen) Smith, Robert (Lynn) Smith, and Steve (Sherry) Smith; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Smith; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Smith, who passed on July 9, 2009; a daughter, Nancy Smith; and her granddaughter, Megan Gee. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Ronald at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
