About | Leo E. Gregg, 87, of Zanesville, passed away at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Willow Haven Care Center. He was born March 11, 1923 at Zanesville the son of the late Forest and Lucy Gregg. Leo was retired from Ross Auto Parts and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II and lifetime member of VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and American Legion. He is survived by son, Danny (Becky) Gregg of Zanesville; daughter-in-law, Betty I. Gregg of Columbus; sisters-in-law, Maralene Crawford, Betty Lasure, and Wilma Gregg all of Zanesville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Rausch, Kelly (Jason) Perez, Antonette (Lee Hurst) Gregg, and Dani-Lynn (Blake Regan) Gregg; great grandson, Timothy Rausch; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; Leo was preceded by his wife, Vivian Mason Gregg who passed away June 24, 1987; son, Timothy L. Gregg; and brothers, Russell and Merle Gregg. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with interment at Duncan Falls Cemetery. VFW Post #1058 will conduct Military services at graveside. |
