About Linda Lee Pryor Paisley, 81, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Altercare in Newark. She was born November 11, 1942, in Zanesville to the late Arthur Earl and Helen Clossman Pryor. She was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School. Linda was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church. Linda was very creative when it came to flowers; she had worked at Flowers and Gifts by Jim. She was also employed at Bill Goff Photography and Leonard Hill Photography. Above all, she enjoyed being a wonderful wife and mother. Those who knew her, knew of her gentle spirit and commented on how sweet and kind she was. She loved being a wife and mother, but when her children needed disciplined, her favorite phrase was “Wait ‘til your father comes home”. She was famous for her “Pryor Minute” as she was rarely on time to everything. She would say “one minute”, which was usually between ten to 45 minutes (or more).

She is survived by her children: Mike (Darla) Paisley, Mollie Hansen and Matthew (Julie) Paisley; two sisters: Cheryl Balderson and Sandy Hayner; sister-in-law Donna (Gary) Weygant; six grandchildren: Tyler Erickson, Travis Pillow, Brianna (Adam) Smedley, Mari-Kate Paisley, Camryn Paisley and Noah Paisley; one great grandchild Grayson Devendorf; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tommie Jim Paisley; three brothers in law: Jim Balderson, Jim Hayner and Sam Paisley; and a sister-in-law Sallie Bebout.

Special thanks to the nieces, nephews and dear friends, who helped take such good care of Jim and Linda.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8PM Friday, January 26 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral will begin at 11AM Saturday, January 27 in the Snouffer Chapel with her loving Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park
