| About | REHOBOTH BEACH, DE: Margaret B. Lehr, 74, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, formerly of Muncie, IN, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Mill Croft Senior Living in Newark, Delaware. Margaret was born in Zanesville, Ohio and was a graduate of Zanesville High School. She earned a B.S. Degree at Miami University and a M.A.E. Degree at Ball State University. Before her retirement, she was a faculty member in the Department of Elementary Education at Ball State University and an elementary teacher in Muncie Community Schools, Torrance, California Schools, and Parma, Ohio Schools. Margaret served as an officer of national executive council and was a lifetime member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. Margaret is survived by two sons; Geoffrey C. Lehr of Muncie, Indiana and Kurt P. Lehr of Columbia Station, Ohio; and her sister, Alice Lamping of Cincinnati, Ohio. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lehr; her parents, Leslie and Juanita Bone; her sister, Evelyn Bennett; and her brother, Douglas Bone. In deference to her wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Margaret and Harry Lehr established a scholarship to help future elementary teachers.
