About | ZANESVILLE -Margaret Erma "Peg" Taylor, 95, of Zanesville, died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House. She was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Otto E. and Erma C. Beatty Kennison. Peg was a former employee of S.S. Kresge's Department Store and Ohio Bell Co. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ladies Guild, Ladies Aid, Junior Women's Club, Y-City Ladies Club, Junior Assembly and was a Bethesda Hospital volunteer for 20 years. She is survived by her daughters, Lainie Louk (Harry) Horn of Columbus, Ind. and Karen L. (Dr. Joseph) Safko of Zanesville; grandchildren, Todd Edwin (Kelly) Louk of Cincinnati and Kimberly Lynne Louk of Muncie, Ind.; great-grandchildren, Megan Taylor Louk and Chase Edwin Louk; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert F. Taylor, who died Aug. 28, 1980; and sisters, Irene Escover, Jeanne McElfresh, Edna Mae Davis, Amy Karleskint and Agnes Louise Offinger. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Bryan and Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. and one hour prior to the services at the church. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 S. Seventh St., with Pastor Dan Sparling officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 S.
