About | Margaret L. "Peg" Kussmaul, 91, of Zanesville, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born June 7, 1921 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Glendon and Margaret Louise Friesinger Evans. She was a member of Market Street Baptist Church, was the retired bookkeeper for Evans Bros. Concrete and a member of Eastern Star # 52. During their 63 years of marriage, Margaret and her late husband traveled extensively with their Amrou Grotto friends, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards. Left to treasure her memory are a son, Paul E. (Linda) Kussmaul of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Glen Kussmaul of McConnelsville, Jenny (Joey) Sayles of Duncan Falls, Jeff Colling and Jay (Amanda) Colling all of Zanesville, thirteen great grandchildren, Josh, Justin (Sarah), Jade, Jared, Jenna, Jessica and Jacie Middleton, Evan Colling, Justin Thrush, Bethany and Brooke Colling, and Morgan and Matthew Kussmaul; and two great great grandchildren, Delaney Middleton and Kameron Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul J. "Shack" Kussmaul, who died November 12, 2004; a daughter, Judith A. Dennis, who died September 24, 2010, a son-in-law, Ed Dennis , who died in September 2010 and a brother, Jim Evans. Margaret will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in Zanesville, beside her beloved husband, Paul. |
