| About | Marjorie A. Lacy, 95, of Trinway, Ohio died Thursday afternoon, June 28, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Zanesville, Ohio December 4, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Harry and Jessie (Morris) Maneely and was a 1934 graduate of Lash High School. Mrs. Lacy was a farmer along with her late husband for many years. She was a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church, Olive Branch Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Duncan Falls and the Muskingum County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and reading and she love her pet cat, "Babe". Surviving is one daughter, Edna B. Welsch of Trinway; two sons, William J. Stotts of Trinway and Stephen (Linda) Lacy of Dresden; six grandchildren, Dian M. Welsch, Richard W. (Shellie) Welsch, Mandy S. Lacy, Jason (Megan) Stotts, Wesley Stotts and Jeff Stotts; three great grandchildren, Kayla E. Welsch, Kristin A. Welsch and Elliana G. Stotts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gleason R. Lacy who died January 13, 2001 and a brother and sister in-law, William and Leona Maneely. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery |
