About | Mark A. Eppley, 60, of Zanesville, died on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at his home. He was born March 28, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of Mary Ruth Mock Eppley Howell of Zanesville and the late J. Richard Eppley. He had served as Vice President at Rankin & Rankin where he had worked for 36 years, a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church, and had served on the Board of Rambo Health Clinic. He loved to boat on Lake Erie, enjoyed woodworking, especially with a wood lathe that his grandfather Charles Mock gave him, enjoyed home improvement projects, and above all he loved to spend time with his family. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Suzanne “Susie” Wycoff Eppley, whom he married June 25, 1972; two sons, Jason (Brandy) Eppley of Blacklick and Tyler Eppley of LaJolla, CA; a daughter Nicole Eppley of LaJolla, CA; two grandchildren, Kaley and Braden Eppley; a sister Linda (Thomas) Collins of Thornville; a niece Mary Collins of Thornville; a nephew Ryan Smith of Lancaster; and a brother-in-law Jim (Suzi) Wycoff of Cincinnati. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father Forrest E. Howell; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Raymond and Jeanne Wycoff.
