| About | Mark R. Catlett, 73 of Zanesville, died 11:37 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, surrounded by his family, following a sudden illness. He was born Tuesday, April 22, 1947, in Zanesville, the son of James Catlett and Frances (Grimes) Catlett. He married Beverly (Zakany) Catlett on Wednesday, November 18, 1964, and was a member of Northside Church Of The Nazarene. Mark worked at General Electric in New Concord retiring following over 30 years of service. Mark was a die-hard Ohio State Fan and a Cleveland Browns Fan. He was a sports lover and enjoyed coaching little league and Babe Ruth Ball; he loved arts and crafts enjoyed painting signs and wood working and working with hands. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Mark is survived by his wife: Beverly Catlett; five children: Kimberly (Steve) Heller, Wendy (Jason) Bath, Jennifer (Chad) Edelen, Ashlee Catlett and Ryan (Alex) Catlett; grandchildren: Jackson and Blake Heller, Harrison and Hamilton Bath, Carter and Kendall Edelen, Slade and Kayleigh Driggs and Gavin and Gracelyn Catlett and numerous nieces and nephews.
