| About | Marlene Rosetta Griffin, 64, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022. Marlene was born October 31, 1957 in Zanesville, daughter of Richard and Sharma Tracey and adopted parents, Donald and Lela Griffin. In addition to her parents, Marlene is also preceded in death by her beloved son, Donald James "DJ" Hayes; brother, Howard (Norma) Griffin; and sister, Marlene (George) Lemmon. Marlene leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved sons, Joshua and Drew Hayes; 2 granddaughters; 1 grandson; brother, Michael (Charlene) Griffin; sister, Sondra Severt; special cousin, Julie Lemmon; many nieces, nephews and cousins; close friend, Marlene Gentile; and a host of other family and friends. Marlene dedicated over 30 years of employment to Nestle Purina Pet Care before enjoying her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Marlene will be deeply missed. Per Marlene's wishes, cremation has been chosen. Memorial services in Marlene's honor will be held at a later date |
