NEWARK: A funeral service for Marlene Baughman, 83 of Newark will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Rath officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.Marlene died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her home. She was born December 19, 1931 in Cleveland to the late Oscar H. and Dorothy (Stills) Wells. A graduate of Zanesville High School, Marlene retired from State Farm Insurance after 37 years of employment. She then volunteered for Hospice of Central Ohio. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Marlene enjoyed sewing, playing cards at Heritage Hall and watching her great-granddaughter. She loved being around her family.Survivors include her children, Nancy (Stephen) Fetter of Henryville, PA, Judy Lothes of Hebron, Dayle (Gary) Hinkle of Peachtree City, GA, Beverly (Kevin) Frecker of Mishawaka, IN, and Scott (Marie) Baughman of Fayetteville, GA; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. |
