| About | VINELAND, NJ: Martha Jean (Simpson) Burch, daughter of the late Waldo E. and Mary Frances (Holbert) Simpson went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at her home in Vineland, NJ. Mrs. Burch was born August 23, 1944 in Zanesville, OH and has been a resident of Vineland for 45 years. She was retired from the Vineland Public Schools after 40 years as an exemplary teacher. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband of 50 years, Robert M.; son, Robert A. (Catherine), daughters, Monica L. and Jennifer Burch LaSure (Leslie); grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Drewes; siblings, James Alan (Wesselyn), Glendora (Jim), Rosemary (Vernon), Stanley (Sondra), Karen (Bill), Constance, John (Renee), and Richard (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Emerson, Anna, Arthur, and Roy. Services will be held Friday, May 23, 11:00 am at Union Baptist Temple, 30 Martin Luther King Jr. Way Bridgeton, where family and friends may attend a viewing 1 hour prior to service, they may also attend a viewing Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Edwards & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 208 Commerce St., Bridgeton. Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery Vineland, NJ. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Burch's memory to Monica L. Burch and sent to Edwards & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 208 Commerce St., Bridgeton, NJ 08302. |
