| About | Martha Kay Jones, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Walnut Crossing Assisted Living in Marysville. She was born September 7, 1942, in Zanesville to the late Kenneth and Esther (Soliday) Roberts. She was a graduate of Zanesville High School and a member of Market Street Baptist Church. Martha was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mary Chapter #9, where she served as Grand Esther in 1995. She enjoyed going on cruises, casinos and traveling. She loved her family and her dogs: Ruby, Patsy and Poco. Martha is survived by her children: Jeff (Linda) Adams and Kim Rhoades; step children: John Jones, Ron (Deanna) Jones and Cindy (Mike) Warner; grandchildren: Ken (Allie) Rhoades and Josh (Casey) Dennis; great grandchildren: Mackinley Rhoades, Anderson Dennis and Lincoln Dennis; step grandchildren: Amber Jones, Amanda Jones, Ashley Ropp, Sarah (Jeremy) Miller, Shannon (TJ) Sowder, Chad Warner and Mark Warner; step great grandchildren: Ambriona Miller, Grace Landon, Jesse Mollhan, Lucas Nickolson, Wesley Nickolson, Chloe Dixson, Shayla Yaeger, David Miller, Jonathon Miller, Stephen Miller, Adelynn Sowder and Hudson Sowder; and a step brother Gary Uhrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roland Jones; her stepmother Margaret “Peggy” Roberts; her brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Sandy Roberts; and a nephew Darren Roberts. Visitation will be held from 11AM to 12PM, Saturday, February 3, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OH. Mary Chapter #9 of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 12PM, in the Snouffer Chapel and the funeral will follow with Rev. Howard Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
