About | Marti Mautz Whitehouse, 65, of Zanesville, died at 3:44 A.M. on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born August 13, 1947, in Zanesville, a daughter of adoptive parents Edward and Erma Burns, and birth parents Paul and Catherine Cameron. She retired from Carskadden Optical Lab in 1987, was a member of Welsh Hills Baptist Church in Granville, Eagles Auxiliary #302, VFW Auxiliary Post #1058, DAV Auxiliary Buckeye State #8, and Richland Grange #1899. Marti was a 1965 graduate of Zanesville High School. Surviving are two sons, Todd Hedges of Zanesville and Pat Hedges of St. Petersburg, FL; five grandchildren Kiel May, Justin May, Sarabeth May, Amber (Jacob) Miller, and Nicholas Hedges all of Zanesville; four great grandchildren Iliana Tracy, Luke Miller, Koby Miller, and Braxtin Miller; two brothers, Paul L. Cameron of Eustis, FL and Pat R. Cameron of Ridge Crest, NC; and three special kitties, T.J., Silver, and Princess Belle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara L. Bishop; and husbands Gerald Mautz, who died January 16, 1990, and George Whitehouse, who died March 14, 2011. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, with Rev. Dr. John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, between her two husbands. |
