FINDLAY: Mary "Betty" Elizabeth Fell, 80, of Findlay passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on March 3, 1935 to the late Harold and Marjorie (Kile) Fell. They moved to Zanesville, Ohio where she graduated from Lash High School in 1953. She married Ronald E. Hiener in 1954 and they later divorced. She then married J.B. Fell in 1962 and he preceded her in death in September of 2000.Betty is also preceded in death by a daughter: Jennifer Lynn Fell in 2004; and brothers-in-law: John (Marjorie), Jerry (Faith) of Spencerville, OH, Bob (Betty) of Zanesville, OH, and Carl (Diane) of Zanesville, OH.Betty is survived by son: Jay Bradford (Becky) Fell of Longmont, CO; granddaughter: Maggie; grandson: Jake; brother-in-law: Bernard (Shirley) of Butler, Pennsylvania; and 19 nieces and nephews.Betty worked for 11 years at Ohio Bell Telephone Company in Zanesville and Columbus as a long distance operator and service observer. In Findlay, she was employed at Theatrical Accessories, a realtor with Homefinders and Century 21 Courtney, and a secretary/receptionist at RE/MAX and Century 21.Betty was a member of Journey at Christ Church and enjoyed volunteering at Blanchard Valley Hospital, the Findlay Surgery Center, Caring Hands, and Circle of Friends. She also enjoyed traveling by way of cruises and buses and playing card games and Mah-Jong. She had many friends of all ages and still kept in contact with and enjoyed seeing girls she knew from 1953. |
