About | Dr. Mary Graham, 86, of 2756 Dresden Rd., died at 6:15pm, Wednesday at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Graham interned at Mercy Hospital at Pittsburgh and practiced medicine at Zanesville from 1922 to 1952, specializing in children's diseases until WWII when she was called upon to do anesthesia at Good Samaritan Medical Center and performed pathology. At her retirement, she was chief pathologist. Dr. Graham attended St. Thomas School and graduated from Zanesville High School, Ohio State University and the Medical College of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia. She was born Feb. 19, 1895, a daughter of John F. and Mary Evans Brown. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gordon B. (Mary Louise) Snider of Lancaster; four sons, Charles E. Graham of Fort Lauderdale FL, James F. Graham, Ernest B. Graham Jr., and John C. Graham, all of Columbus; two great grandchildren and two sisters, Miss Margaret Brown of the home and Mrs. Phillip J. (Josephine) Miller of Zanesville. Burial will be in Mr Calvary Cemetery. |
