| About | Mary Jo Brink, 73 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, at her residence. She was born on June 21,1950, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenneth Barker and Velma Joanne Conkey-Furgerson. Mary Jo was a graduate of Zanesville High in 1968. She later worked at Sears Service Center and at Walmart in South Zanesville before retiring. Mary Jo was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ. She believed very strongly in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she read her Bible daily. She loved singing and listening to Mark Lowry and the Gaither Vocal Band. Mary Jo crocheted, colored, played cards and board games with her friends, and enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles in her free time. She is survived by her 3 children: Rebecca (David) King, Vicki (Shawn) Hoagland, Martha (Lee) Mitchell; brother, David Alexander; sisters, Janet Stephenson, Mary Jane Grandstaff, Thelma Miller, Carole Upchurch; grandchildren, Andrea Hoagland, Elizabeth (Aaron) Moll, Hannah Aldred, Austin Hoagland, Branden (Savannah Ramos) Hoagland, Elizabeth Taylor, Dillon (Ashly) Hoagland, Leticia Solis-Lopez, Kimberli Solis-Lopez, Gunner King; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Rose Hoagland, Nova Claire Moll, Kyson Taylor, Kamiah Taylor, Sol Ramos; and special friends, Trudie Mirgon and Pat Palmer; and ALL of her special friends at the Abbott Home. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Rosie Solis-Lopez and Anthony Solis-Lopez; sister, Ruth Seenes; father of her children, Larry “David” Brink; and special friends, Mike Smith and Susan Harper. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Meadow View Church of Christ at 6750 Raiders Rd. Frazeysburg, Ohio 43822. Mary Jo will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio. |
