About | Mary Lou Hardy, 87 of New Concord, formally of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Morrison House surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Saturday, February 2, 1935, to the late Roy William and Elizabeth DeVolld Stine. She married Robert Lee Hardy on June 14, 1952. She was a doting mother to her three little girls and a wonderful homemaker and a member of Putnam Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her three daughters: Vicki Allen of New Concord, where she has made her home for the past twelve years, Robin Hood of Canton and Karen Ross of Columbus; her sister and brother in law: Sandra and Jerry Carlile of Sarasota, Florida; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and a special family pet Rylee, who loved to take naps with her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Robert “Rob” Hardy; her brother William Stine; sons in law Michael Allen and Michael Ross; and special Pastor Herb Perry. One of her favorite songs was “You Are My Sunshine” but really, she was ours. Friends may call from 11AM to 1PM Monday, December 12, 2022, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
