Mary L. Eickleberry, age 80 of Zanesville, passed away 3:20 PM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born Saturday, April 26, 1941 in Zanesville, the daughter of Ralph “Packy” Paxton and Silvia (Evans) Paxton. She was married on Sunday, November 1, 1959 to Paul Eickleberry who proceded her in death on Wednesday, April 14, 1999. Mary retired from Lear Technologies after many years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Harold) Bush of Philo, Cheryl Eickleberry of Zanesville; two sons, Richard and William (Valerie) Eickleberry all of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren one great- great grandchild, ; two brothers, Fred Paxton and William (Harriett) Paxton; and one sister, Shirley Rush several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, William Paul, two brothers, Robert E. Paxton and Ralph “Shorty” Paxton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 PM & 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Wyatt officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park |
