About | Maurice L. "Moe" Vinsel, 83, of Zanesville, died at 5:22 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2000, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus. Born July 25, 1917, in Zanesville, he retired as regional vice-president of the Credit Bureau of Columbus Companies. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Elks Club, American Legion 209, former mayor of Zanesville, former member of Jaycees and Kiwanis Club and a World War II Army veteran. Surviivng are his wife, Reba Clossman Vinsel of the home: two sons, David (Meg Sargent) Vinsel of Wheaton IL., Jeff (Penny) Vinsel of Zanesville, two sisters, Cledith King of Columbus and Wilma Buller of Lansing, Michigan; a brother, Bryce Vinsel of Zanesville. Also survived by grandchildren Kelly Vinsel and John Vinsel along with their mother Jan Havens Wagner and a granddaughter Madelyn Vinsel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Glen and Laura McCormick Vinsel: sister, Wanda Jean Vinsel. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
