| About | Michael C. Barnett, of Columbus, Ohio, died April 29, 2009 at his home. He was born May 12, 1947 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Virgil L. Barnett and Garnet Mayle Barnett Stevens. Michael graduated from Zansville High School in 1965. He served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged. He later earned a bachelor degree from Ohio State University. He is most recently retired from Consolidated Freight of Columbus Ohio. Michael is survived by his mother, Garnet Stevens of Belpre, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph Barnett of Columbus, and Timothy (Angie) Stevens of Marietta; two sisters, Gloria Portis of Belpre, Ohio, and Michelle (James) Day of Olney, Maryland; he is also survived by two aunts; and several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and friends. |
