| About | Michael Douglas Smith, 43, Zanesville passed away at home Wednesday, July 8, 2009. He was born May 12, 1966. He was a graduate of Zanesville High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Chase Smith; daughter, Rylie Smith; mother, Marcia (Russell) Adams; two brothers, John (Anita) Searl of VanWert, OH, Jack (Dawn) Smith; sister, Deborah Sellars; grandmother, Lura Smith; step-mother, June Smith; step-brother, Russell (Terri) Adams; three step-sisters, Heather (Steve) Himes, Heidi (Troy) Murphy, Debbie (Randy) Tisonyai; brother-in-law, David L. Angelo; and special friends, Vicki Smith and Brenda Chambers all of Zanesville. He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas B. Smith; two sisters, Shanda M. Angelo and Angela L. Smith; grandfather, George Smith; grandparents, Homer and June Hamrick. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street. Service will be Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Entombment in Memorial Park Cemetery. |
