About | Michael Edouard Erichsen, 81, of Pataskala died on January 22, 2021. He was born on May 29, 1939 to Jes and Dorothy (Doig) Erichsen at Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. He graduated from Zanesville High School in 1957 and joined the United States Navy in 1959. He married his high school sweetheart, Maxine (Piper) in 1959. While serving in the Navy he attended Palomar Jr. College in San Diego, California and George Washington University, Washington D.C. and earned a degree in Health Care Administration. Mr. Erichsen served a tour in Vietnam. He served in the United States Navy for 26 years and retired as a Lt. Commander. He worked for C.O.R.C. for 14 years. Surviving are his wife Maxine; sons Darrin (Brenda) and Lance; grandchildren Troy, Amber, Ryan (Karlie); nephews Michael, Dana (Sharon). He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Amity #5 and American Legion #107. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 28, 2021 from 12 Noon until time of services at 3 P.M. at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Dee Rader officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with Full Military Honors by the United States Navy assisted by American Legion Post 29 and VFW Post 1058. |
