| About | Michael G. ``Mike`` Adams, 46, of Zanesville, died at 12:53 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Genesis Bethesda ER following a sudden illness. He was born Thursday, March 8, 1962, in Zanesville, the son of Gary Adams and Lillian (Dennis) Adams. He married Beth (Bateson) Adams on Friday, December 29, 2006. He was employed at the family business, Gary`s Marathon Station. He loved baseball and was a Cleveland Indians & Brown`s fan and played with the Senior Pioneers Baseball Team for many years. He was an adoring son and loving husband. Mike is survived by is wife of the home; his mother: Lillian Adams; his father: Gary (Marilyn) Adams; one brother: Greg (Regina) Adams of Zanesville; one sister: Lorie (Randy) Morrison of Zanesville; his maternal grandmother: Florence Ileene Dennis of Zanesville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; one sister-in-law: Sue King of Zanesville and two brother-in-laws: Bill (Laura) Bateson & Tom (Cindy) Bateson both of Zanesville; mother & father-in-law: William ``Bo`` & Shirley Bateson of Zanesville and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: James J. Dennis; paternal grandparents: Tom & Flora Adams. A caring cremation will take place and committal service will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park at a later date. |
