STUART, FL: Nancy Ellen Harbach, 82, passed away December 16, 2014 in Stuart, Florida. Nancy was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Dr. Daniel G. and Helen J. Caudy. The family moved shortly thereafter to Zanesville, Ohio where Nancy grew up, graduating from Lash High School in 1950. Nancy moved to South Florida in 1959 where she worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She retired in 2005 following 15 years with The City of North Miami. After retirement Nancy enjoyed having more time to devote to her dogs and to gardening. She also enjoyed outings with The North Miami Senior Citizens group and visiting with family and friends. Nancy was predeceased in 1992 by her husband, Frank G. Harbach; and a son, Thomas A Renicks, Jr. in 2014. She is survived by a daughter, Jan (Robert) Summers of Palm City, FL, a son, Dr. Michael S. (Kayjeong) Renicks of Gautier, MS and a daughter, Robin Harbach of Palm City, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jacob) Arthur of Raleigh, NC, Julie Summers of Palm City, FL, Joanna (Victor) of Gainesville, FL, Jillian Renicks of Shanghai, China, Daniel Renicks and Jessica Brooks of Gautier, MS and Michael Harbach of Miami, FL. Nancy was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, Talah Arthur of Raleigh, Logan Neale, Lana and Ashton Renicks of Gainesville. She will be remembered by family and friends for her birthday cakes, her abundant energy and for a smile that could light up any room. |
