About | Nancy L Wilson McCallister went to be with her Lord, Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born August 25, 1931, to Milton Wilson and Mary (James) Wilson Lynch. She graduated from Lash High School in May of 1949. She married Byron McCallister on October 9, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, her parents, her brother David Wilson and two brother-in-law’s; Norman McCallister and Charles Ivan McCallister. She is survived by her daughters: Cathy (Larry) Kotler and Molly (fiancé Jerry Markle) McInturf; her grandchildren: Jennifer (Dean) Young, Morgan (Chris Vanest) Flowers, Gavin (Kris) Rigel, Beth Markle and Jenny (Steve) Bruge; her great grandchildren: Cassidy and Caden Harris, Kate Young, Colt (Lydia) and Carter Flowers, Warren and Jennevieve Burge; brother in law L. Dale (Joy) McCallister; sister in law Shirley McCallister; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she loved dearly. Nancy supported her husband and all his endeavors throughout their lives together. She was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. She worked at ALR Insurance Agency from 1988 and retired in 2001. She loved her family and was considered the Matriarch of the family for many years. She opened her home and heart to many friends, family and traveling missionaries. She will be sorely missed. The family wants to thank the staff at the Oaks at Northpointe for their excellent care and kindness towards her during her stay. Calling hours will be Thursday June 2, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be Friday June 3, 2022, at 11am in The Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Chris Brown officiating, assisted by Phil Walker. Burial to follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
