Pvt. Nicholas E. 'Pops' Warner , 18 of Zanesville , OH died as a result of an auto accident 4:40 AM Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan ER Zanesville OH. He was born Sunday, August 19, 1990 in Zanesville and graduated from Zanesville High School. On July 10th, 2009 he graduated from the United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Paris Island South Carolina. Nicholas was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his father Terry E. Warner and his special friend Sue Smith of the home, 3 uncles Douglas Warner of Columbus, Keith (Sandy) Warner of Newark & George Warner of Zanesville. An aunt Brenda Warner of Zanesville and his girlfriend Paige Westcott of Roseville. Special friends Lionel & Polly Watiker. He was preceded in death by his brother Shawn Short in June of 2008. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14th from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home 935 Forest Ave. Zanesville OH with Dr. Herbert Hicks officiating. Burial with Military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park Zanesville OH . Memorials can be made to the charity of choice. |
