About Norma Virginia Griffin, 83, of Adamsville, was called home by the Lord at 6:45 A.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Altercare Zanesville. She was born June 1, 1937, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Alva O. and Blanche (Gregg) Martin. Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker, a member of Shepherds Christian Assembly in Coshocton, and the Adamsville Homemakers.

She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Griffin, Jason (Mary) Griffin, and Jon Griffin; two daughters, Carol (Starkey) Lawrence and Cathy-Jayne (Michael) Middleton; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Martin, Joseph (Frances) Martin, Ralph Martin, James (Velma) Martin, and Raymond (Karen) Martin; a sister, Mary (Gordon) Fischer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard “Larry” Griffin whom she married June 5, 1955 and died June 15, 2013; four brothers, Roy, Richard, Eugene, and Olen Martin; and a sister, Dorothy Miller.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, with Pastor Starkey Lawrence officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, Adamsville.
